Profiling Bajwa with Nawaz Sharif and Ejaz Amjad and how destinies of individuals get intertwined with destinies of Nations and their future..

Bajwa to those who have known him through PMA and Army Service who despite his size was essentially a timid nonentity incapable of standing upto stiff opposition or announcing himself forcefully to his beliefs against the crude up factions or serious opposition which exist in parts with every course or formation invariably and was fondly nicknamed as Bajwa confused for reference as there were four Bajwas in his course and for his out of place actions antics and remarks .

Marriage to Ejaz Amjad daughter put Bajwa in an exclusive club of a generals son in law which does provide an oppurtunity to be looked after in the formations and courses and being inherently unassuming but hardworking Bajwa trailed along without any special distinction in the courses or appointments viz a viz his peers like Ashfaq Nadeem who made their mark and reputation while progressing through Army fulfilling challenging posts while Bajwa continued an unremarkable journey and getting promoted everytime on the way.. 

Bajwas low profile gait and middling in ordinaryness under the watchful eyes of Ejaz Amjad took him right upto the level where the final selection to the highest position is left to an individual like Nawaz Sharif who believes in owning institutions by compromising its head and bureaucracy and Ejaz Amjad was right there to make arrangements and promote his protege to the position of COAS which had consequences for the State and its institutions. 

Bajwa was nominated to the highest rank in the Army by Nawaz Sharif superseding exceptional men and professionals who merited the appointment being the favourites in the panel especially Ashfaq Nadeem Zubair Hayat and Ramday being sidelined in the wisdom of Nawaz Sharif which in itself is a tragedy and kills merit at the least where in turn the institutions suffer. 

Nawaz Sharif who with his Indian connections and American submission was becoming instrumental in destroying the institutions of Pakistan which was identified collectively through State's Establishment wisdom and so Nawaz was being curtailed to be replaced by Shehbaz Sharif who was falsely fancied and projected as an administrative wizard while Sidelining Zardari considered to be a big menace for Pakistan.

 With that kind of approach by Military bureaucracy after Raheel Sharif retired with Bajwa in chair in 2018 and with his inherent timidity Bajwa selected the middle course and IK who by now was a formidable political figure was allowed to become the PM with the thinnest of engineered Majority vice Shehbaz who had decided upon a cabinet being the chosen one initially who was parked in opposition for the time being with an aim for eventually destroying IKs popularity and giving a clear final victory to Noon leauge and sidelining PTI for ever because Nawaz Shaif the benefactor wanted the power to land with himself and Maryam aspiring to be Benazir and thus started the long plan for an NRO 2 and regime change operation discrediting IK through Media Smear campaign under the auspices of the American lobby and Indian support. 

Allah's help though was nigh to IK and despite pandemics Indian aggression with America unleashing an economic choke and Bajwa insidiously creating hurdles for IK Pakistan did very well and Ik got rooted in the hearts of Pakistani citizens and diaspora forever with Bajwa miserably failing in disreputing and dislodging IK in the initial thrust which infuriated Nawaz Sharif who had mysteriously been shifted to Evenfield London from Kot lakhpat jail under the equally mysterious platelets results and that is the reason why Maryam at Pakistan and Nawaz from Evenfield threatened and abused Bajwa and the Army directly without even a single simple rebuttal out of Bajwa or the ISPR to the abuses and accusations by the PDM opposition then. 

By his second tenure as the Chief Bajwa had managed a team to see his design through and in his galactic confusion and submission to Ejaz Amjad and his Myopic views Bajwa forced a hand in the regime change with fatal consequences for Pakistan and his institution which was exposed completely when the citizens despite extreme fascism and propaganda through State and judicial machinery rejected the regime change rejected American interests and Bajwa while in uniform became an object of ridicule and shame for he never merited what he acceded to and brought shame upon himself and destruction to the country..

Today while Pakistan is facing all kinds of crisis the characters like Bajwa Ejaz Amjad and Nawaz Sharif rich and well fed through suckling at the resources of the poor Nation stay securely gloating in abundance and comfort and still calling shots as Pakistan has become a fiefdom to its detractors and looters.

 پاکستان میں ابھرتا ہوا ملٹری فاشزم۔ آنے والے آرمی چیف کو کن چیلنجز کا سامنا ہوگا

 یہ مضمون ایک سینیئر حاضر سروس فوجی افسر نے لکھا ہے۔

 فاشزم کو مختلف لوگ مختلف طریقے سے بیان کرتے ہیں۔ پاکستان کے تناظر میں اس کے درج ذیل عناصر ہیں:-

 1. گہرا سماجی بحران جو موجودہ سماجی درجہ بندی کے لئے خطرہ بن رہا ہے۔

 2. آرمی چیف باجوہ کا سپر ہیرو کا کردار جسں کی قیمت دوسرے ادارے ادا کر رہے ہیں اور جس کے نتیجے میں دوسرے اداروں میں احساس کمتری پیدا ہوا

 3. آمرانہ- پولیس اسٹیٹ طرز حکومت۔

 4. اظہار رائے کی آزادی پر پابندی

 5. ریاست کے فیصلہ سازی کے عمل میں غیر ریاستی عناصر اور غیر متعلقہ افراد کا وجود

 6. جعلی بیانیہ کے ساتھ عسکری بیان بازی

 7. اعلیٰ عہدے پر فائز لوگ اندرونی طور پر فاشسٹ ہوتے ہیں۔

 پاکستان میں فاشزم کے عناصر کو سمجھنے کے بعد آج ہم دنیا بھر میں ایک غیر جمہوری، کرپٹ اور متشدد قومی ریاست کے طور پر جانے جاتے ہیں جس نے اپنی آزادی جمہوری جدوجہد کے ذریعے حاصل کی۔ اس وقت طاقت ور طبقہ اشرافیہ میڈیا کے ساتھ جعلی خبروں کے ذریعے جعلی بیانیے کو فروغ دے رہا ہے جہاں عام آدمی کے مسائل پر بات یا ذکر کم ہی ہوتا ہے۔ یہ سب کچھ جنرل باجوہ اور اُن کے چند سرفروشوں کی آشیرباد سے ہوا ہے جس سے پاک فوج کی مکمل شبیہہ خراب ہو رہی ہے۔ باجوہ نظریے نے ملک کی ایگزیکٹو اور پارلیمنٹ سمیت ہر ریاستی ادارے کو زیر سایہ کر دیا جس کے نتیجے میں تنازعات نے ادارے کی ساکھ کو بھی داؤ پر لگا دیا۔ باجوہ نظریہ کے تحت 18ویں ترمیم کے تحت صوبائی خودمختاری کو نقصان پہنچانے کی کوشش کی گئی، پارلیمنٹیرینز کو کسی بھی کاروبار کے لیے مخصوص رقم کے لیے دستیاب شے کی طرح دیکھا گیا، عدلیہ کو دبا دیا گیا ہے اور یہ باجوہ کے زیر سایہ اپنی کم ترین سطح پر کام کر رہی ہے۔ ریاست کے ہر پہلو کو کنٹرول کرنے کی کوشش میں جنرل باجوہ کے کردار کی وجہ سے پاکستانی عوام میں نفرت کا ٹیکہ لگایا جا رہا ہے۔ لینڈ مافیا کو پروان چڑھایا گیا ہے اور ان کے غلط کاموں کے لئے انٹیلی جنس سروسز کا غلط استعمال کیا گیا ہے۔ آج کا بیانیہ: اگر اعلیٰ افسر امیر ہیں تو قوم امیر ہے، لیکن اس کے برعکس نہیں۔ جنرل باجوہ کی قیادت میں رجیم چینج آپریشن نے ملک کی معیشت کو تباہ کر دیا ہے۔ جمہوریت اور جمہوری اصول تقریباً ختم ہو چکے ہیں۔ 25 مئی کا واقعہ پاکستان میں ابھرتے ہوئے فوجی فاشزم کا انتہائی مظہر تھا۔ ماضی میں مسلم لیگ (ن) کی مزاحمت کو کامیابی سے کچل دیا گیا، لیکن فوج ملک میں پی ٹی آئی کی قیادت میں ہونے والے مظاہروں کے ساتھ ایسا کرنے میں ناکام رہی ہے۔ ناکامی کی وجہ سے آئی کے اور ارشد شریف پر قاتلانہ حملہ ہوا۔ میڈیا کا گلا اسطرح گھونٹ دیا جا رہا ہے کہ جس کی پاکستان کی حالیہ تاریخ میں مثال نہیں ملتی۔ مقصد یہ تھا کہ ذاتی مفادات کے لیے باقی ماندہ جمہوری نظام پر قبضہ کرنے کے لیے تشدد کی نئی لہر پیدا کی جائے۔

 جب فوج نے اپنے ہی لوگوں کے خلاف ہتھیار اٹھائے تو ریاست کی بنیاد بہت کمزور ہو گئی اور اس بار یہ اکسایا گیا کہ فوج پنجاب کے لوگوں کے خلاف ہتھیار اٹھاتی ہے۔ اب بھی معاشرے کے تمام طبقات کو دھمکی یا تشدد کے ذریعے قابو کرنے کی کوششیں جاری ہیں۔ جنرل باجوہ کی پالیسیوں نے سیاسی پولرائزیشن اور معاشرے میں ایک قسم کی ہنگامہ خیزی کو بڑھاوا دیا جس نے ریاست کے تقریباً تمام درجوں میں عدم توازن پیدا کر دیا ہے۔ آرمی چیف کے اپنے رشتہ داروں سمیت اعلیٰ افسران کی کرپشن کو عوامی دائرہ سے دور رکھا گیا ہے اور سیاستدانوں کو بلا تفریق کرپٹ قرار دیا گیا ہے۔ آخری بات یہ ہے کہ میڈیا کو یہ بتانے کی کوششیں جاری ہیں کہ تمام سیاستدان اور قوم کرپٹ ہے، اس لیے اسے بددیانتی کو کم کرنے کے لیے بھی کسی کوشش کی ضرورت نہیں۔ درحقیقت، باجوہ نظریہ فوج کی شبیہ کو تباہ کرنے کے لیے فوج کے اندر خود کو تباہ کرنے والا آلہ ثابت ہوا ہے۔ یہ آنے والے مہینوں میں نئے آرمی چیف اور عمران خان سمیت سیاسی جماعتوں کے رہنماؤں کو پریشان کرے گا۔

Evolving Military Fascism in Pakistan, what is waiting for new COAS? And Future of Coming Generations

Fascism can be explained differently by different people. In the context of Pakistan, it has following elements: -

1. Deep social crisis which is threatening existing social hierarchy.

2. Super hero role adopted by the Army Chief Bajwa at the cost of other institutions resulting in inferiority complex amongst others

3. Authoritarian- police state style.

4. Ban on freedom of expression

5. Existence of non-state actors and irrelevant people in the decision-making process of the state

6. Militarised rhetoric with fake narrative

7. People in top brass are intrinsically fascists

 

After understanding the elements of fascism in Pakistan, today, we are known around the world as an undemocratic, corrupt and violent nation-state which got its freedom through democratic struggle. Presently, power elite with elite media are promoting the fake narrative through fake news where issues of common men are rarely discussed or mentioned. This all is has been practised with blessings of Gen Bajwa and few of his sycophants at the top brass tarnishing the complete image of the Pak Army. Bajwa Doctrine made every state institution overshadowed including the executive and parliament of the country resulting in controversies overshadowing the reputation of institution itself. Under Bajwa Doctrine, attempts were made to harm provincial autonomy under 18th Amendment, Parliamentarians were made to look like a commodity item available for certain amount for any business, Judiciary has been subdued and it is working at its lowest ebb under the Bajwa. Hate is being injected in the people of Pakistan because of the role of Gen Bajwa in an attempt to control every facet of the state. Land mafias have been promoted and intelligence services have been abused through their mis-use. Today’s narrative: if top brass is rich, then the nation is rich, but not vice versa. Regime change Operation led by Gen Bajwa has destroyed the economy of the country. Democracy and democratic norms have almost ceased to exist. May 25th Episode was extreme manifestation of evolving military fascism in Pakistan. PML-N resistance was scuttled successfully, but military has failed to do the same with PTI led protests in the country. Failure to scuttle led to assassination attempt on IK and Arshad Sharif. Media is being strangulated which is unprecedented in the recent history of Pakistan. Objective was to create new wave of violence to take over the remaining democratic system for the vested interests.

Very foundation of the state has been weakened once Army takes up arms against its own people and this time it was provoked that Army takes up arms against the people of the Punjab. Still efforts are being made to control all sections of the society through threat of violence or violence. Gen Bajwa policies multiplied political polarisation and a kind of turbulence in the society which has imbalanced almost all tiers of the state. Corruption within the top brass including Army Chief’s own relatives have been kept off the public purview and politicians are declared to be corrupt without any discrimination. Lastly, efforts are undergoing to feed the media that all politicians and nation is corrupt, thus, it does not require any effort to even reduce the malpractices. In fact, Bajwa Doctrine has proven to be a self-destructive valve within the military to destroy the very image of the Army. This shall be haunting new Army Chief and political party leaders including Imran Khan in the months to come.
